This web site provides a general overview on United Power’s Coal Division, the over-the-counter (OTC) coal market, the standardized products traded in the OTC, and typical contract terms and conditions. However, the primary function of this website is to provide United's clients (subscribers) with easy, downloadable access to daily mark-to-market coal prices. These market prices, a.k.a. Vaughn's View, are an independent assessment based on actual trades, bid-ask quotes and market intelligence gathered daily by United's coal desk.

Interested in becoming a subscriber? United offers email subscriptions for both daily and weekly (Friday's edition) price service. Clients subscribing to the daily price sheet can choose between Level 1 service, with full web access to the latest 15-months of historic data, or the lower priced Level 2 service with no web access to historic data.
